The GLOW Work & Learn Portal gives schools, employers, and portal managers one shared place to coordinate work-based learning opportunities in the local community.
What it supports
- Employers can share internships, job shadows, site visits, employment opportunities, and mock interviews.
- Schools can identify opportunity needs connected to students and teachers.
- Content managers can review submissions before they become visible in the portal.
How it works
Authenticated school and business users submit records through the portal. Content managers review those records, publish approved opportunities and needs, and keep organization, school, category, and map information current.
Launch commitments
- Students do not log in to the portal in the initial release.
- Posts should not include student names or student personal information.
- Accessibility remains a launch requirement for the public site and authenticated portal.
